Christmas at The George
Join us this festive season and enjoy a specially prepared menu inspired by the best seasonal flavours.
We are now taking Christmas reservations from Monday 1st to Wednesday 24th December (Excluding Sundays), available for both lunch (12:00 to 14:00) and dinner (17:30 to 20:30).
To secure your table, we require a £10 deposit per guest, which will be deducted from your bill on the day.
All Christmas menu reservations require a pre-order. The lead booker will receive an email with a link to our pre-order system, where you can conveniently submit your choices.
Guests’ email addresses can also be added so that each person can select their own meal directly.
Christmas Day Lunch
For the very first time, The George will be serving food on Christmas Day. After so many requests, we’ve put together a special Christmas Day menu so you can relax, celebrate and let us do the cooking. Whether it’s with family or friends, join us for a proper festive feast in a warm and welcoming setting.
Sittings are available at 12:00, 12:15, 12:30, or later in the afternoon at 15:00, 15:15, 15:30. View the menu using the button below, and call us or pop in to book your table – places are limited and in high demand.
Join us this New Year’s Eve for a proper night to remember at The George. We’re serving up a 6-course tasting menu, followed by a cabaret act, live music and our DJ taking you through to the early hours. Expect great cheer, fantastic people, plenty of atmosphere and the perfect way to see in 2026.
